Fuerteventura

The first thing you’ll be amazed by when landing on the island of Fuerteventura, is its unusual Moon-like looking landscapes with stunning golden sand dunes and clear turquoise waters.

Closer to Africa (100km) than the other Canaries Islands, Fuerteventura is the driest and has no less that an average of 320 sunny days a year. The island enjoys spring-like weather throughout the year, with a fairly constant average temperature of 21ºC.  In fact, the mild summer temperature rarely exceeds 28ºC thanks to the cooling breezes brought by the North trade winds, which, combined to the warm water, makes it the ideal holiday place for sun-seekers and watersports fanatics alike.

With a short 3 to 4 hours flight from most European cities and cheap access by several low cost flights a week, there is nothing better than a little escape from the cold winter time to enjoy some great wave riding in a perfect 20ºC temperature in the month of January.

Corralejo

Pro Training Fuerte is based in the town of Corralejo. A touristic area that built up from a small fishing village and combines the locals (Majoreros) lifestyle with the touristic infrastructures.

The city is located in the North and looks out towards Lanzarote and is separated to the nice volcano of Lobos Isle by a narrow stretch of sea. There are several fine beaches close to the centre that are family friendly while the beaches for surfing, windsurfing and kiteboarding are situated in the Natural Park of Corralejo further South-east.

Corralejo also offers a lot of activities like diving, trekking and cycling… A good nightlife also keeps the city always on moving with plenty of bars and restaurants… the good atmosphere never ends even at night!
